Job Purpose
Drive sales growth, distribution expansion, and market execution in the General Trade (GT) channel by managing distributors, sales teams, and customer relationships to achieve company sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Develop and execute GT sales plans to increase revenue and market share.
Expand numeric and weighted distribution coverage.
Identify new business opportunities and potential markets.
Distributor Management :
Appoint, monitor, and develop distributors.
Ensure distributor profitability and compliance with company policies.
Monitor stock levels, order fulfillment, and inventory turnover.
Sales Team Management
Supervise Territory Sales Officers (TSOs) and Sales Representatives (SRs).
Set KPIs and monitor team performance.
Conduct regular field visits, coaching, and training sessions.
Market Execution
Ensure product availability and visibility in retail outlets.
Implement trade promotions and merchandising activities.
Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
Reporting & Analysis
Prepare sales forecasts and performance reports.
