Responsibilities & Context:
Supervise Sales Audit Officer team to ensure effective coverage, timely audits, and quality execution across assigned territories.
Conduct regular audits of sales transactions, distributor operations, market claims, trade schemes, discounts, and promotional activities to ensure compliance with company policies.
Identify sales process gaps, control weaknesses, irregularities, and potential financial leakages through systematic audit and field verification.
Analyze sales, distributor, inventory, and transaction data to identify anomalies, trends, and areas requiring investigation.
Prepare clear audit findings, management reports, and actionable recommendations for corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate with Sales, Finance, Commercial, Trade Marketing, and other functions to resolve audit observations and strengthen internal controls.
Track closure of audit findings and ensure timely implementation of agreed corrective actions across the sales organization.
Strengthen sales governance by improving audit processes, control mechanisms, SOP compliance, and risk management practices.
Conduct special investigations and fact-finding reviews on suspected irregularities, policy violations, or significant sales-related issues.
Drive continuous improvement in sales audit effectiveness through data analytics, process standardization, and capability development of the audit team.
