The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Assistant Manager role within a large-scale knit garments manufacturing industry.
Good communication (written/verbal) & presentation skills.
Positive work ethics and result-oriented for assigned responsibilities.
Self-driven to work under pressure and self-motivated to take new initiatives.
Responsibilities & Context:
Develop, implement, and monitor Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO, buyer, and industry standards.
Ensure compliance with product safety regulations (chemical safety, restricted substances, CPSIA, REACH, etc.) and customer requirements.
Review and validate lab test reports, risk assessments, and safety protocols for all raw materials and finished products.
Conduct internal quality audits, inspections, and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) to drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate with production, merchandising, and sourcing teams to ensure product quality from development to shipment.
Provide training and awareness sessions for cross-functional teams on QMS, product safety, and buyer compliance requirements.
Liaise with external labs, certification bodies, and buyers for testing, audits, and compliance documentation.
Monitor KPIs and quality performance data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Prepare and submit periodic management reports on quality, compliance, and product safety performance.
