Additional Requirements:
  1. Minimum of 8 years of experience in product development, preferably within the textile industry focusing on WOVEN SHIRT / TOPS.
  2. Graduate in Fashion Design, Apparel Merchandising, Textile Technology from reputed university.
  3. Proven track record in managing the end-to-end product development process from concept to production.
  4. Strong understanding of textile manufacturing processes and material selection specific to narrow fabrics.
  5. Proficiency in product technical principles and techniques.
  6. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  7. Experience in leading cross-functional teams and coordinating with various departments such as merchandising, manufacturing, OPR and marketing.
  8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal teams and external partners.
  9. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products in planed time-line.


Responsibilities & Context:
  1. Managing sample process and coordinate for product development through startup kit and planning.
  2. Manage internal and external communication on all matters related to product development and sampling. 
  3. Analyze new product development (NPD) report to ensure on time development to achieve target sample development lead time to ensure maximum order intake.
  4. Responsible for different process improvement projects as a part of improvement of faster product development, color consistency, improved inventory management, speed of first order development.
  5. Drive development cycle time improvements and first time right improvements along with operations team.
  6. Acting as a technical support for product development team and other cross functional team as and when necessary.
  7. To lead the product development life cycle team and guide team to design and accurate sample to meet customer guidelines and timelines.
  8. Set high level processes for product development life cycle and sample creation to be followed by the team.
  9. Guide team on the product development process and stakeholder interaction required.
  10. Support team in planning complex product developments
  11. Support team in analyzing tech pack for new products and guide them in designing and creating the pattern.
