Position Overview

GPEL is seeking an Assistant Manager – Marketing (Planning & Strategy) to lead marketing planning, campaign strategy, and team supervision for both GPEL and GAB (Global Academy Bangladesh).

This role requires a strategic and highly organized professional who can manage multiple campaigns across study abroad and language programs. The selected candidate will supervise creative and digital marketing team members and ensure that all campaigns are aligned with sales targets, business development priorities, and overall organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership & Supervision

  • Supervise and guide the Senior Marketing Communications Executive, Graphics Designer, Motion Graphics Designer, and Senior Digital Marketing Executive.

  • Assign tasks, set timelines, and monitor performance.

  • Ensure high-quality output across content, design, and digital marketing initiatives.

  • Mentor team members and support professional development.

2. Marketing Planning & Strategy

  • Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing plans for both GPEL and GAB.

  • Align campaigns with sales targets, telesales objectives, and B2B partnership goals.

  • Define KPIs, timelines, budgets, and expected ROI for campaigns.

  • Provide strategic direction on product positioning, messaging, and creative execution.

3. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Telesales, Business Development, and Product teams.

  • Ensure marketing initiatives support intake targets and regional campaigns.

  • Communicate campaign priorities clearly across departments.

4. Campaign Oversight & Quality Control

  • Review and approve campaign messaging, scripts, product briefs, and creatives.

  • Monitor social media performance and digital marketing metrics.

  • Ensure brand consistency and adherence to organizational standards.

5. Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Track key performance metrics including lead generation, engagement, and campaign effectiveness.

  • Prepare performance reports for senior management.

  • Recommend improvements based on data analysis and business feedback.

  • Maintain structured communication between marketing and sales teams for performance optimization.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or campaign strategy.

  • Proven experience supervising creative and digital marketing teams.

  • Strong expertise in campaign planning, product positioning, and strategic execution.

  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines effectively.

  • Experience in education, EdTech, or digital product marketing is preferred.
