• Minimum 6 years of relevant industrial experience in electrical maintenance or facilities management is highly desirable. Professional certification in electrical engineering, maintenance, or safety is an advantage

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment (substations, generators, transformers, switchgear)

• Solid analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills

• Practical knowledge of electrical safety and H&S regulations

• Skilled in planning and supervising preventive and corrective maintenance

• Enhanced leadership skills to manage technicians, contractors, and stakeholders

• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and technical documentation

• Excellent communication in Bangla and English

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

• Provide electrical engineering support technical analysis, troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and resolution
• Plan, execute, and supervise all maintenance activities (preventive, predictive, routine, corrective), maintaining accurate records and technical documentation
• Inspect, test, and maintain substations, generators, transformers, switchgear, and distribution boards, ensuring timely maintenance to minimize downtime
• Supervise electrical maintenance across campus facilities, coordinating fault resolution for AC systems, elevators, pumps, and other electromechanical equipment
• Conduct semester-wise inspections of campus electrical equipment; assess and requisition repair, refurbishment, or replacement as needed
• Ensure proper maintenance of fire detection/protection systems and process purchase requisitions for electrical materials
• Supervise contractors and service providers, ensuring compliance with safety standards and statutory requirements
• Support energy-efficiency initiatives to improve system reliability and cost-effectiveness
