Florentia Real Estates Ltd. is seeking a skilled and motivated Architect to join our growing architectural and project development team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the planning, design, documentation, approval, coordination, and execution of the Company's real estate development projects. The role requires strong architectural knowledge, proficiency in design and technical documentation, regulatory awareness, and the ability to coordinate effectively with consultants and project teams.

The ideal candidate should be capable of handling architectural assignments from concept development through construction-stage coordination, while maintaining design quality, statutory compliance, technical accuracy, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, schematic designs, design development, and detailed design proposals for residential, commercial, mixed-use, and other development projects.

• Prepare and develop architectural drawings, construction drawings, working drawings, details, specifications, and as-built documentation.

• Prepare architectural drawings and documents for submission to RAJUK and other relevant authorities, under appropriate professional supervision and authorization.

• Ensure architectural designs comply with BNBC, Fire & Life Safety requirements, accessibility standards, zoning regulations, and applicable statutory requirements.

• Coordinate architectural designs with structural, MEP, civil, landscape, interior, and other specialist consultants.

• Assist in coordination with RAJUK and other regulatory authorities regarding project approvals, permissions, and statutory requirements.

• Review architectural drawings, technical documents, shop drawings, and other submissions from consultants and contractors.

• Participate in design review and coordination meetings and provide necessary architectural inputs.

• Conduct regular site visits to monitor architectural works and ensure execution is in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and design intent.

• Identify and resolve architectural and site-related issues in coordination with consultants, contractors, and project teams.

• Review material samples, finishes, mock-ups, and technical submissions related to architectural works.

• Assist in architectural quantity take-offs, cost estimation, material evaluation, and procurement-related technical activities.

• Monitor architectural deliverables according to project schedules, quality standards, and approved design requirements.

• Prepare design presentations, drawings, reports, and project updates as required by management.

• Maintain proper documentation of drawings, revisions, approvals, and project correspondence.

• Research new architectural materials, construction technologies, and sustainable design practices.

• Work closely with the Senior Architect, project team, consultants, and management to ensure smooth progress of assigned projects.

• Perform other architectural and project-related duties as assigned by management.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognized university.

• Professional membership with Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB) will be preferred.

Experience

• 5–6 years of relevant professional experience in architectural design, real estate development, consultancy, or construction projects.

• Experience in residential and/or commercial real estate projects will be preferred.

• Practical experience in RAJUK approval processes, architectural documentation, and construction-stage coordination will be an advantage.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of architectural design principles and construction documentation.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D visualization/rendering software, and Microsoft Office.

• Knowledge of relevant architectural standards, building regulations, and approval procedures.

• Strong design development and technical drawing skills.

• Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, and internal project teams.

• Good communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple project assignments.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
