Responsibilities & Context:
We are looking for a highly experienced and proactive Assistant Manager to lead our IT support operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a large support team, ensuring high-quality end-user support, maintaining IT service stability, and continuously improving IT processes across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and manage IT support team members.
Assign tasks, set performance goals, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
Develop and implement training programs to enhance the team’s technical skills and career growth.
Oversee IT support requests, follow-up, reporting, and service performance tracking.
Ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests as per SLA targets for 24/7 support operation.
Ensure excellence in IT service delivery through a structured helpdesk and support system.
Ensure effective 1st and 2nd level administration and support for network infrastructure, servers, and cloud platforms.
Coordinate with different teams and stakeholders to deliver technology requirements and support requests.
Implement and maintain security measures to protect company data and systems.
Monitor and respond to cybersecurity threats, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Lead digital transformation projects and automation initiatives.
Assist in developing and implementing IT policies, procedures, and operational standards.
Collaborate with global IT teams and client services on support requirements, infrastructure projects, system upgrades, and technology rollouts.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience and Other Requirements
● Minimum 5 years of experience in IT service management, leadership, or a related role.
● Strong knowledge of networking, cloud computing, AI, cybersecurity, and enterprise software, cybersecurity tools, firewalls, endpoint protection.
● Proven track record in managing IT teams and infrastructure.
● Professional certification on ITIL/CCNA/Red Hat/CISA or such equivalent will get preference.
