• Practical experience in electrical maintenance of material handling systems (conveyors, cranes, feeders, etc.), preferably in a steel plant.

• Proficient in electrical systems of conveyors, cranes, motors (LT & HT), VFDs, soft starters, PLC panels, and power distribution systems.

• Capable of reading and interpreting electrical schematics and control drawings.

• Strong troubleshooting skills in power and control circuits.

• Thorough understanding of industrial electrical safety standards and national regulations.

The vision of this concern is to produce world-class re-rolling products and billets which will meet the uprising demand in the local market and will also bring significant economic growth by exporting around the globe. We are seeking a competent and experienced professional for the position of Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – FTP / RMHS / Scrap Yard (Electrical). The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted electrical maintenance of all relevant equipment in the FTP, RMHS, and scrap yard sections to support efficient production flow & report to the line head at MRSML plant.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of material handling systems, including conveyors, EOT/gantry cranes, motors, MCCs, and control panels to ensure consistent and safe operation.

• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize breakdowns and improve equipment availability.

• Conduct regular inspections, testing, and fault diagnosis of electrical systems and components to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.

• Monitor the health of electrical assets and initiate timely repairs or replacements to avoid production interruptions.

• Maintain and manage inventory of essential electrical spare parts and coordinate procurement to support scheduled and emergency maintenance needs.

• Ensure strict compliance with plant electrical safety standards, statutory regulations, and organizational policies during all maintenance activities.

• Collaborate with mechanical and operations teams to optimize equipment performance, reduce downtime, and improve system efficiency.

• Train and guide electrical technicians on safe work practices, troubleshooting techniques, and efficient maintenance procedures.

• Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance activities, inspections, equipment history, and reports for internal tracking purposes.
