  • Strong troubleshooting and fault diagnosis ability.

  • Understanding of plant electrical safety and statutory compliance.

  • Maintenance planning and team supervision.

Job Context:

Meghna Re-Rolling and Steel Mills Limited (MRSML), a concern of Meghna Group of Industries is going to establish a top-notch steel factory in Bangladesh with the latest European technologies and machinery having a production capacity of 1.5 million MT per annum. The vision of this concern is to produce world-class re-rolling products and billets which will meet the uprising demand in the local market and will also bring significant economic growth by exporting around the globe. MRSML is seeking competent and experienced professionals for the position of Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Crane (Electrical). The incumbent will play a critical role in ensuring the uninterrupted operation of overhead and gantry cranes through effective electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and team supervision. This position is essential for supporting round-the-clock plant activities and maintaining high standards of safety, reliability, and productivity in crane operations. And will report to the line head.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of crane control systems, motors, and wiring to maintain system reliability.

  • Coordinate with electrical technicians and crane operators for scheduled and emergency maintenance, ensuring minimal operational disruption.

  • Inspect and test electrical components regularly to identify faults and prevent system failures.

  • Manage electrical spare parts inventory and procurement to support timely maintenance activities.

  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and plant regulations to uphold workplace safety.

  • Analyze electrical system performance data and recommend upgrades or modifications for improved efficiency.

  • Provide technical guidance and training to electrical maintenance staff to enhance skills and safety awareness.

  • Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities and reports for accountability and review.
