• Relevant experience in electrical maintenance of Continuous Casting Machines (CCM), preferably in a steel plant.

• Strong knowledge of CCM electrical systems, including motors, VFDs, PLCs, sensors, and automation panels.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical manuals.

• Experience with troubleshooting power and control circuits in high-temperature industrial environments.

• Familiarity with SCADA/PLC-based systems (Siemens, ABB, or similar platforms preferred).

• Ability to carry out load analysis, fault finding, and basic instrumentation calibration.

To support uninterrupted operations and equipment reliability, we are looking for a skilled and experienced Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – CCM (Electrical). The incumbent will be responsible for managing all electrical aspects of CCM equipment and systems, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and team supervision, while ensuring adherence to strict safety and operational standards & report to the line head at MRSML plant.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise electrical maintenance of CCM, including motors, drives, control systems, sensors, and PLCs to maintain reliable machine functionality.

• Develop and implement preventive and corrective electrical maintenance plans to minimize faults.

• Diagnose electrical faults and coordinate repairs to reduce downtime.

• Manage inventory of electrical spare parts and coordinate procurement to ensure readiness.

• Ensure adherence to electrical safety standards and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.

• Provide technical support and training to electrical maintenance staff to enhance skills and safety awareness.

• Maintain detailed documentation of electrical maintenance activities for accountability.

• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to optimize CCM electrical performance and reliability.
