Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in any discipline; preferably in Chemistry, Textile or Apparel Manufacturing.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage and direct activities congenial to the productivity of the production unit for garments by: a. Ensuring optimum utilization of man, machine & material to yield higher productivity b. Analyzing, controlling and reducing cost in an effective and efficient manner.
∎ Establish and maintain operational guidelines, procedures, and practices.
∎ Monitor operational performance and improve existing performance and efficiency.
∎ Manage work in progress costing, negotiate to price (if assigned) and able to do right costing.
∎ Prepare and monitor budget to achieve goals in line with company goals.
∎ Evaluate staff performance, disciplinary matters, training needs, and career development plans.
∎ Lead safety, quality and compliance activities in the workplace to ensure zero NC.
∎ Responsible for reporting production cost, maintenance, consumption, monthly stock, people, quality and safety for effective decision making by management.
∎ Ensure and maintain a clean and tidy site.
∎ Carry out any other jobs as assigned by Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 40 years
∎ In-depth knowledge and experience of Wet & Dry process in a reputed denim washing industry.
∎ Hands-on experience on Hand Brushing, Whisker, 3D, PP Spry, Grinding, Damaging, Resin, Ozone, Resin wash, Bleach Wash, Dying, Towel, Acid, Enzyme Wash, etc. process.
∎ Up-to-date knowledge and skills in garments manufacturing and washing.
∎ In-depth knowledge about denim product and quality control mechanism of buyers.
∎ Computer literacy (Oracle/ERP environment)
∎ Must be fluent in English (Reading, writing, and speaking).
∎ Team Leader with proactive interpersonal skills.
∎ Ability to work hard and control Pressure.
∎ An open-minded approach towards learning new skills and sharpening existing skill sets.
∎ Result-oriented and a strong desire for success.
∎ Self-starter & proactive.
