Responsibilities & Context:
  • Business Development:
  • Identify and explore new business opportunities within the heavy equipment industry to increase market share.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential clients.
  • Sales & Marketing:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to promote heavy equipment products and services.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create campaigns, promotional materials, and sales tools.
  • Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to showcase products and build networks.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
  • Conduct regular client meetings to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Contract Management:
  • Prepare and negotiate sales proposals, contracts, and agreements in alignment with company policies.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and terms.
  • Reporting & Coordination:
  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions, sales performance, and market insights.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as operations, logistics, and technical support to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Provide regular sales and performance updates to senior management.
  • Technical Knowledge:
  • Develop a deep understanding of the product range, including specifications, features, and applications.
  • Offer guidance to clients on product selection and usage based on their project requirements.
  • Problem Solving:
  • Anticipate and address challenges in the sales process or client engagements.
  • Identify and propose solutions for any market or operational hurdles.
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Salesmanship, Communication Skills, and leadership
  • Manage client accounts from order inquiry to shipment, To deal with the Buyer independently for all the marketing activities including price quoting, negotiation, and sourcing.
  • Must have sound knowledge of product costing & pricing process/procedure. Have to handle development stage activities independently.
  • To act as a coordinator among all concerned parties to ensure timely execution and delivery of the order.
  • Conduct regular client visits for new requirements and maintain existing relationships.
