Educational Requirements:

∎ Minimum graduate certificate or equivalent diploma in Automobile from an accredited state-certified University.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Objective 1: Movement, Vehicle and Fleet management
∎ Ensure regular and temporary vehicle inspection in collaboration with drivers.
∎ Identify movement/vehicle need, consolidates travel request, ensure resources are meet and optimized.
∎ Ensure all vehicle documents are updated and ready.
∎ Follow up on Needs and Rental Contracts.
∎ Prepare LOG report of fuel consumption, movement, etc.
∎ Prepare process overtimes of staff.
∎ Coach and develop capacity of drivers and provide necessary instructions, trainings.
∎ Update information including movement, Security.
∎ Gather information on road condition, safety equipment, maintenance, safety & security prior to movement.
∎ Daily car planning and car movement monitoring.
∎ Ensure stationaries in the vehicles.
∎ Ensure safety equipment for the vehicles
∎ Objective 2: Maintenance and execution
∎ Communication with car to locations to check on fleet vehicles
∎ Assisting in preventative maintenance and upkeep of pool, department and spare vehicles
∎ Maintaining vehicles including jump-starting batteries, checking tire level, and fueling vehicles as needed.
∎ Maintain a flexible work schedule – some evening and weekend hours may be required
∎ Undertake daily physical check of vehicles to identify accidents, damage, mechanical problems
∎ Objective 3: Monitoring and coordination
∎ Ensure daily supervision of drivers through a transparent scheduling, clear policy on weekend work, field duty and overtime
∎ Maintain an updated database containing information on vehicle location
∎ Maintain regular control of logbooks to ensure accuracy of data inputs;
∎ Receive and respond requests from requester to assign drivers for missions ensuring a proper rotation is always maintained within the driver pool
∎ Reconcile the monthly fuel consumption for Vehicle
∎ Ensure proper filing system of documents such insurance files, requests for registration
∎ Compare data from logbook (mainly mileage against actual itinerary and distance covered) after field duty
∎ Support in base security issue.
∎ Documentation for the Audit preparation.
∎ Objective 4: Any other job prescribe by line manager or top management.
∎ Objective 5 : Proactively support ACFs commitments to gender equality, child protection and disability sensitivity
∎ Read and ensure a full understanding of ACFs Gender Minimum Standards & Child Protection Policies, asking questions and/or for support when necessary;
∎ Implement all work related activities with a gender, disability and child protection lens, taking into account the different needs, concerns and ideas of our staff and beneficiaries;
∎ Ensure the incorporation of gender equity principles in all policies and activities;
∎ Encourage the participation of all genders in meeting and on committees;
∎ Help build an inclusive office environment where people do not feel disadvantaged or judged according to their gender or limited due to manageable disability.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Female candidate are strongly encouraged and local language will be preferable.
∎ 1-2 years of administrative experience preferred
∎ Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
∎ Ability to work as a team player with the willingness to handle assigned tasks, whether simple or complex
∎ Ability to work in a fast-paced organization and multi-task
∎ Strong communication and teamwork skills
∎ Good written and verbal communication skills
∎ Ability to learn terminology common in utility repair industry
∎ Ability to deal with people in a professional manner in all types of situations.
Salary: Tk. 36574 (Monthly)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Festival Bonus: 1 month Gross salary every year;
∎ Provident Fund: 7.5% of Basic Salary;
∎ Performance Bonus: from 30 % to 80% of monthly Gross salary per year depending on performance;
∎ End of Contract Benefits: As per organizational policy.
∎ Medical coverage: 80% hospitalization coverage medical expenses (max limit BDT 120,000 per year);
