Job Context:

Now over 8000 employees are working in different Strategic Business Units under the group. We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and motivated person for the following position.
∎ The purpose of the position is to prepare fabrics like fleece, tubular, terry, P.K. Spandex S/J, and structured fabrics. The position will be responsible for knitting around 30 tons per day using the optimum capacity of factories. The position is expected to be a team leader who can train his team to develop skills. The position will be under the direct supervision of the Managing Director.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The position is mainly responsible for the below tasks:
∎ Fostering a production environment that is focused on safety and quality initiatives.
∎ Consulting with Top management and R&D team and making recommendations on research findings and product innovations.
∎ Implement quality control and assurance procedures, achieving a world-class standard of material production.
∎ Implement and manage manufacturing flow systems (continuous improvement, lean, six sigma, 5S, etc) for maximum efficiency and capacity utilization.
∎ Manage production schedules and plans on a daily basis to meet customer commitments and deadlines, both internal and external.
∎ Ensure all manufacturing activities operate consistently with the Work Plan and the budget.
∎ Monitor and improve plant analytics, standard operating procedures and present production reports and metrics to the management team.
∎ Ensure all equipment is maintained and working properly and safely.
∎ Control Yields, Wastage, WIP, and overall operating expenses.
∎ Maintain better and verifiable chemical data in the chemical inventory list.
∎ Must be a "hands-on manager", willing to do whatever it takes to keep the plant running.
∎ Work with applicable internal and external experts to establish optimum workflow, systems, facilities, and equipment requirements
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 15 years where O5 years in a managerial position;
∎ Incumbents those who have work experience in the garments/Knit industry will get preferences;
∎ Good Communication skills in both English and Bengali;
∎ Skilled on Dyeing, Finishing, Knitting, Printing;
∎ Strong analytical & leadership ability and work as a strategic thinker;
∎ Positive work ethics and result-oriented for assigned responsibilities;
∎ Self-driven to work under pressure and self-motivated to take new initiatives;
∎ Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships and good team work;
∎ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
