Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist the management in overseeing daily garment production activities on the floor.
∎ Monitor the production process to ensure output targets (quantity and quality) are met.
∎ Track WIP (Work in Progress) in each section – cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing.
∎ Support line supervisors in allocating work and maintaining workflow.
∎ Ensure smooth coordination between different departments (cutting, sewing, finishing, and quality).
∎ Assist in managing manpower allocation and balancing workloads across lines.
∎ Coordinate with the Quality Control team to ensure products meet quality standards.
∎ Report any non-conformities or quality issues to the relevant teams for corrective action.
∎ Record production data such as daily output, defect rates, and downtime.
∎ Prepare and submit daily production reports to senior management.
∎ Use ERP or MIS systems for data entry and report generation.
∎ Assist in identifying inefficiencies and areas of improvement in the production process.
∎ Work with the industrial engineering team or production planners to implement corrective actions.
∎ Support initiatives to improve productivity and reduce waste.
∎ Follow up with the store and procurement team to ensure the timely availability of trims and accessories.
∎ Ensure that materials are issued correctly to the production floor as per requirements.
∎ Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and company policies.
∎ Support the implementation of 5S.
∎ Report any safety hazards immediately to the personnel team.
∎ Communicate daily targets, priorities, and updates to workers and production management.
∎ Support worker motivation and address minor grievances in coordination with Personnel or production management.
∎ Attend daily production meetings and share floor updates with relevant departments.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the management.

The candidate will assist in managing production activities efficiently to ensure quality, OTD, and smooth workflow in line with the company’s operational standards.
