Education:

• JSC / JDC / 8 pass

• 1–2 years’ experience in bakery or pastry kitchen (preferred)

• Basic knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients

• Training or certification in bakery/pastry (advantage)

• Ability to work in early shifts and flexible hours

• Open to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparation and baking of breads, cakes, pastries, cookies, and desserts

• Follow standard recipes and production guidelines set by the Bakery Chef

• Support bulk production for outlets, events, and catering orders

• Prepare ingredients (measuring, mixing, portioning) accurately

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bakery section as per HACCP standards

• Ensure proper storage of raw materials and finished products (FIFO method)

• Help in inventory counting and stock management

• Operate bakery equipment (oven, mixer, proofer) under supervision

• Assist in packing, labeling, and dispatch for outlet delivery

• Maintain daily production and cleaning checklists

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation

• Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise in safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment

• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action

• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so
