FMCG Sales & Marketing
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Suggest continuous improvement in Distributor Infrastructure , process & distribution in his territory
∎ Assess prospective distributor requirements and conduct the negotiation, selection and initiate initial training
∎ Period review of the performance of all distributors in the territory and set improvement targets
∎ Set the Sales target for each TM and distributor, track regularly and review them monthly
∎ Develop SKU wise 3 months rolling sales forecast for the territory and share with RSM for demand review meeting
∎ Conduct market visit for identification of retail outlets and introduce them to the company product portfolio
∎ Divide the territory into routes for DSR visit and approve a weekly schedule for the route coverage, as prepared by TM
∎ In case spurious products in the market, report to the Corporate (legal and quality teams etc.)
∎ Manage Modern Trade / Institutional customers
∎ Scan initial list of prospective distributors meeting the targets profile set by RSM and shortlist them for the first pitch meetings
∎ Conduct distributor appointments and act as a single point of contact for all distributor related concerns
∎ Maintain distributor ROI as per company policy
∎ Handle merchandising activities and create placement plan as part of routine market visit
