∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ · Establish a safeguarding culture across all level of the programme by implementing the safeguarding policy. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ · Responsible to ensure team members are appropriately trained, supported and have access to resources regarding issues that are identified and actioned in accordance with the safeguarding policy and procedure.
∎ · Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 15 years of experience, preferably in emergency response, including 5 years in management or supervisory role is required. Experience in providing support (logistical, operational, safety and security, administrative, finance etc.) and monitoring of large-scale field operations is preferred.
∎ Demonstrated organisational leadership and management skills.
∎ Ability to work independently and as a team player with demonstrating leadership and is able to support and train local and international staff
∎ Ability to work with disaster affected communities in a sensitive and participatory manner.
∎ Advance knowledge on financial, administrative and human resources management having excellent knowledge on program complexities and perspective.
∎ Proven strategic planner and team leader with sound technical knowledge of support systems.
∎ Proven ability to develop and lead a high performing team.
∎ Excellent people manager, mentor and coach.
∎ Strong problem solving and organisational skills.
∎ Experience of flexible approach to manage and prioritise a high workload and multiple tasks in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines.
∎ Experience of working collaboratively with local and national government, NGO partners and a commitment to work through systems of children/ community participation.
∎ Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
∎ Excellent understanding of the humanitarian emergency response operations.
∎ Knowledge of humanitarian aid systems e.g. Clusters, Sphere etc. Ability to understand, develop and implement organizational and donor policies
∎ Works with trustworthiness and integrity and has a clear commitment to BRAC'S core values and humanitarian principles.
∎ Provide an appropriate level of supervision according to need
