Job Context:
∎ Responsible for the end to end Application Support by following Software Development and Maintenance Lifecycle Standards. This position is highly responsible for catering user queries /issues/problem /incident /change request to provide technical support and also to perform Software testing to verify user specifications.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Understand User requirements and issues.
∎ Provide Technical support to all the running applications.
∎ Must be technically skilled in diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving software problems.
∎ Clear understanding of SQL database query and administration and should have outstanding knowledge on database design and queries.
∎ Should be capable to work as individual or in team.
∎ Ability to work closely with users to solve any issues and have good communication skills.
∎ Prepare Test Plans, Test cases and defect reports.
∎ Set up Test environments and update bug database.
∎ Provide Support to the Project Management Office.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and attend meetings as per requirements.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Hands-on Experience in Software development, Support and Testing by following industry Best practices.
∎ Experience working with Relational Database (e.g. SQLSERVER) and ObjectRelational Mapping technology (e.g. JPA/Hibernate).
∎ Working knowledge of code version control tool (e.g. Git/SVN).
∎ Knowledge in Testing & Bug Management tools
∎ Ability to work individually and independently with minimal supervision.
∎ Self-managed, independent, initiative and proactive.
∎ Open to learn new technologies.
∎ Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
