Required Skills

• Strong foundation in Python programming.

• Solid understanding of machine learning and deep learning concepts.

• Hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.

• Knowledge of Computer Vision (OpenCV, YOLO, Detectron2, etc.) OR NLP/LLMs (Transformers, HuggingFace, etc.).

• Experience from professional projects, research, GitHub contributions, Kaggle work, or competitions.

• Strong problem-solving ability, curiosity, and a continuous learning mindset.

• Exposure to LangChain, RAG pipelines, or multi-agent AI systems.

• Familiarity with AWS, Docker, cloud deployment, API integration, and version control.

• Understanding of vector databases & embeddings (FAISS, Pinecone, Milvus, etc.).

• Awareness of ethical AI, data privacy, and responsible model development.

• Ability to collaborate effectively in Agile/Scrum teams and deliver work in iterative development cycles. 

Job Context

Apex DMIT is expanding its AI capability and looking for an experienced AI Engineer skilled in Computer Vision, Agentic AI Systems, and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build intelligent, scalable, and real-world AI applications for enterprise products, SaaS platforms, and internal automation solutions.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize Computer Vision models for image/video classification, detection, and segmentation.

• Build Agentic AI systems capable of autonomous reasoning, planning, and multi-step task execution.

• Design and implement RAG pipelines using embeddings, vector databases, and LLM-based retrieval.

• Implement data ingestion pipelines and build preprocessing workflows for image, text, and structured data.

• Integrate AI modules with backend services, APIs, and production systems.

• Build multi-agent architectures that combine vision, text, and contextual understanding.

• Conduct research, run experiments, and deliver POCs for new AI features.

• Prepare high-quality documentation, maintain model versioning, and ensure reproducibility.

• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver AI-powered features.
