∎ Currently, United Dhaka Tobacco Company Ltd. invites applications for the following position:
∎ Agronomy Manager - Development Program
∎ To conduct and accept the challenge and the opportunity learn new skills whilst being pushed out of comfort zone. Must should have strategic thinker with analytical capabilities, managing and analyzing big data and are comfortable using it as a basis for strategic and tactical decision making. Should be broad mind, adaptability to new environments and cultures Must have excellent communication skills and presenting to stakeholders at different levels. Must have leadership ability and have to be fluent in English. The crucial duty to focus on assignment is to understand how we operates and understand our Leaf business.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Understand the newly acquired Leaf operations in Bangladesh
∎ Learn how we execute growing and extension programs
∎ Get involved in the planning, contracting and planting phase of our crops
∎ Work with local farmers and provide supply to them. It will work closely with the local farmers throughout the crop cycle.
∎ Understand the financial side of our crops
∎ Learn about crop estimation and quality of crop
∎ Understand the Leaf grading
∎ Understand the leaf processing process
Additional Requirements:
∎ Must have gained 5-10 years' experience in the agronomy sector.
∎ Must have gained managerial experience in running agricultural programs in subtropical/tropical environments, preferably experienced in tobacco production.
∎ Must have experience in managing large work forces
∎ Must have a driver's license.
Salary:
∎ Gross Annual Salary range: As per organization`s policy
