Job Responsibilities:
∎ Identifying and Implementing Cluster: Under the leadership of the Regional Procurement Head, the incumbent supports the definition and manages the implementation of cluster and local procurement strategies by ensuring a solid understanding of Global, Regional, and Local procurement requirements. Implementing and monitoring global/regional applicable category strategies, KPIs, reporting templates, and communication procedures.
∎ Procurement Strategy: Work closely with the Global Category Management team and Regional Procurement Lead to support the definition of JTI's Indirect Spend Procurement strategy to identify cluster/local procurement opportunities and develop & validate the annual cluster procurement plan with the regional procurement lead. Ensure it is built in the ASP to deliver procurement benefits to the region. Be accountable for the delivery of the cluster Procurement KPIs while monitoring the achievement of these KPIs by taking corrective actions when necessary.
∎ People Management & Leadership: Oversee staff work allocation in the various locations, training needs, mentoring, performance appraisals, and succession planning to develop and motivate them to achieve the targeted productivity and other performance goals (accuracy, timeliness, speed, savings, etc.). Develop succession planning and appropriate development roles for potential leaders in Procurement department.
∎ Customer-Centric Organization/Credibility of Target Delivery: Build and maintain a strong business partnership with the local/cluster management teams (CFOs, Legal, P&C, Global Business Service center) by fostering trust through continuous engagement (both quantitative and qualitative). As well as work in close collaboration with the Regional Procurement Lead to support the improvement of regional planning, measurement, and reporting of cost reduction targets.
∎ Compliance: Ensure all P2P controls/policies/procedures are well understood and deployed by local Procurement teams across the cluster. Develop the internal procurement assessment plan and ensure execution within the cluster and review its output to implement corrective actions at an individual Procurement level or on a Cluster basis if appropriate.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 42 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ *Minimum bachelor’s degree completion with focus in Supply Chain Management from a reputed University; foreign degree is preferred.
∎ *Minimum 12 years of working experience in managing Procurement / Manufacturing Services / Finance function preferably from MNC or FMCG industry
∎ *Relevant course completion on Procurement & Supply Chain Management from a foreign institute.
∎ *Strong people management skills, mixed environment experience of managing factory & market, international and local project management experience will be an added advantage
∎ *Business acumen with full understanding of Procure to Pay (P2P) processes including spend analysis and contract/supplier management
∎ *Ability to build and maintain sustainable partnership with internal & external stakeholders
∎ *Played a leading role in integration of new acquisitions.
∎ *Broad knowledge in business information systems and strong computer skills (sound knowledge in SAP is a must)
∎ Experience in leading procurement operations with exposure to multiple markets/countries.
