Job Context:

Fresh Polymer & Paints Ltd. (FPPL) a concern of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI), is establishing a modern polymer and plastics manufacturing facility at Meghna Economic Zone (MEZ), producing uPVC, cPVC, HDPE pipes & fittings, bathroom fittings, WPC doors, PVC foam sheets, water tanks, paints and other industrial products.

The AGM/DGM – Maintenance will lead the factory maintenance function to ensure maximum equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and safe plant operation through effective preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, utilities management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance plans to ensure uninterrupted operation of extrusion, injection molding and auxiliary machines.

  • Monitor machine performance and ensure minimum 95% equipment uptime to maintain smooth production and reduce unexpected downtime.

  • Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, inverter and PLC related faults to restore machine functionality quickly and minimize production loss.

  • Supervise installation, commissioning and modification of machinery and utilities to ensure proper setup, operational reliability and compliance with technical standards.

  • Manage factory utilities including generators, compressors, chillers and cooling systems to ensure stable power and process support for continuous production.

  • Lead and develop the maintenance engineering team through training, guidance and performance monitoring to improve technical capability and operational efficiency.

  • Plan and control spare parts inventory and maintenance budget to ensure timely availability of critical components while maintaining cost efficiency.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory standards to maintain a safe working environment and meet company and statutory requirements.

  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives such as TPM, 5S and OEE monitoring to increase equipment productivity and operational excellence.

  • Coordinate with production, quality and management teams regarding maintenance planning and operational issues to align maintenance activities with production targets.
