Responsibilities & Context:
Directed sewing machine operations and maintenance across multiple units, ensuring alignment with productivity, quality, and cost-efficiency goals.
Led a cross-functional team of engineers, technicians, and operators, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and technical upskilling.
Implemented preventive and predictive maintenance programs under TPM principles, reducing downtime and extending machine lifespan.
Developed and delivered technical training programs on modern sewing machinery, boosting efficiency and operator accuracy.
Applied Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize processes, minimize waste, and improve machine utilization.
Streamlined spare parts inventory management for better availability, cost control, and maintenance responsiveness.
Partnered with Work Study and IE teams to enhance production workflows and workstation ergonomics.
Tracked and analyzed KPIs and maintenance metrics to drive data-informed decisions and resolve operational bottlenecks.
Ensured strict adherence to safety, sustainability, and organizational compliance standards.
Contributed to strategic planning for automation, machine upgrades, and capital investments.
