Experience:
Master’s degree in any discipline (English is preferred).
At least 5 years of experience in administrative and personal support to the Executive Director/ Managing Director/Chairperson.

Age may be relaxed for highly qualified & experienced candidates.
Good command of verbal and written communication skills in English;
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build professional relationships with diverse donors and stakeholders;
Progressive experience in gender equality, safeguarding, or protection roles within development or humanitarian organizations;
Proven experience in conducting sensitive investigations, including interviewing, evidence assessment, and reporting;
Strong understanding of safeguarding frameworks, gender mainstreaming, and child protection principles;
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office management tools;
Should have experience to make corporate presentations in PowerPoint;
Strong organizational and time-management skills.High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity;
Willingness to travel to project sites when required;
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
National Development Programme (NDP) is a national level non-governmental, non-profit, and non-political development organization in Bangladesh, registered under NGO Affairs Bureau (Reg. No. 880/1995). Since its establishment in 1992, NDP has been working with a vision to create a just and poverty-free society by empowering disadvantaged and marginalized communities. Alongside its Credit Support Programme supported by Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF), NDP also implements various agriculture, education, health, nutrition, housing, and social development projects with the support of development partners including WFP.
Position Overview:
National Development Programme (NDP) is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and professional Administrative Assistant to support the Executive Director (ED). This position requires strong managerial capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. The role will serve as a key liaison between the ED and external stakeholders, including donors, partner organizations, and internal senor management teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive administrative and personal support to the Executive Director.
Manage the ED’s day-to-day schedule, appointments, and correspondence efficiently.
Regularly track donors, potential donors, proposal submission opportunities and keep it to the attention of Executive Director & to the responsible person.
Initiative to submit the Project Proposal timely & accurately.
Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications on behalf of the ED.
Screen phone calls, emails, and other correspondence, responding or redirecting as appropriate.
Prepare reports, presentations, and briefings for meetings with donors, partners, and stakeholders;
Ensure the Executive Director is well-prepared for all meetings, events, and engagements;
Prepare minutes of General and Executive Committee & Senior Management meeting ensuring all decisions and approvals are obtained from the ED.
Ensure timely communication and coordination with all departments, government officials, donors and stakeholders on behalf of the ED;
Ensure timely communication and correspondence with NGO Affair Bureau, MRA, PKSF & others stakeholders on behalf of the ED;
Participate in meetings with government officials, donors, partner organizations, and other relevant stakeholders on behalf of the ED when required.
Organize official events, meetings, domestic and international travels and arrange accommodations & event bookings for ED;
Renewal visa and NGO & business-related licenses;
Maintain accurate records, files, and documents related to ED’s office and organizational operations.
Coordinate and follow up on tasks and projects assigned by the ED.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the ED and appropriate authority to support organizational objectives.
On the probation period monthly salary Tk. 60,000-65,000/- & after confirmation Tk. 67,450-73,485/- monthly;
