∎ For our Sourcing Office in Dhaka - we are looking for WOVEN MERCHANDISER
∎ Position requires very organized, proactive, problem solver who has good market knowledge about knitting/washing/dying & also with strong knowledge on yarns and yarn treatments.
∎ The successful candidate will work closely with the Merchandise Team, Sourcing manager,
∎ Technician, Quality Assurance Officers, Suppliers and Buyers in Europe.
∎ Availability: ASAP
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To find the most efficient production facility according to TALLY WEIJL requirements.
∎ Handle sample development and approval process efficiently to the satisfaction of the
∎ buyers as well as the factory while maintaining timelines.
∎ Follow-up/monitor orders from the order confirmation, production through to shipment.
∎ Establishment of critical path (TNA) for each placed order with the buyer and factory
∎ simultaneously.
∎ Communicate and follow up with suppliers for raw materials, trims, space bookings to
∎ ensure on time delivery.
∎ Work with internal departments to ensure quality, production, and timely delivery of the
∎ goods.
∎ Communicate consistently with the office manager/ buyers and keep them updated on
∎ production, samples development and new technique trends available on the field.
∎ Monitor and evaluate supplier performance and provide inputs to the annual supplier's
∎ record
Additional Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 years' experience as a merchandiser in Ladies woven and jersey tops/ dresses.
∎ Experience at a buying house or liaison office is an advantage
∎ Applicants must have excellent knowledge in various types of jersey and woven fabrics
∎ The applicants must be conversant in all merchandising practices
∎ Must be cooperative and able to work in a team as well as independently in a fast paced environment
∎ Must demonstrate communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Excellent English knowledge orally and written
∎ Must have knowledge on MS-Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and internet proficiency
∎ Must show Commitment and loyalty to the company
