Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Engineering
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ For new styles, analyze the bulletin and prepare Layouts, identify critical operation and special machines/attachment.
∎ During line feeding, check work place, lay out , method and ensure worker and machine proper utilization Taking the capacity study of full-line and line balancing for clean-up bottleneck area.
∎ Monitor workers' performance, Standard Target setup, Line Balancing etc.
∎ Conducting Capacity Study/ Production Study/ Time Study;
∎ Hourly Target/production monitoring and take necessary action
∎ Skill inventory of existing workers and assessment for new workers.
∎ Lost time recording, Efficiency Calculation, Problem Study, Develop Productivity
∎ Prepare Standard Minute Value (SMV) & update SMV database based on method improvement;
∎ Save SMV by introducing new methods of development & innovation;
∎ Modify design & layout of man, machine, and materials to achieve maximum efficiency; Methods developments & analysis as a side of quality & quantity.
∎ Operator skill checking, communicating with respective cross-functional teams, on corrective actions of any failure, found;
∎ Ensure functional reporting, goal alignment & performance evaluation process;
∎ Calculate Non-Productive time (NPT) daily basis and reduce it; Find out the root cause of production problems; perform time study and method study to improve efficiency, quality, and product reliability;
∎ Reduce excess manpower or unused manpower in floor.
∎ Follow-up the low performing Operators. Nonproductive time (Loss Time) record and reduce.
∎ Ensure to achieve production target & proper line balancing as per layout
∎ Implement an easy and effective way of doing work. Follow-up the low performing Operators.
∎ Daily overtime (OT) monitoring and controlling
∎ Ensure effective communication with the supply chain team for increasing productivity.
∎ Any other task assigned by management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Must have strong knowledge on Industrial engineering in RMG industry.
∎ Knowledge of engineering economics, relevant technologies, decision analysis, optimization tools, material-handling, statistics, mathematics, production planning process including the application of LEAN principles to production line improvement and various aspect of garment manufacturing systems.
∎ Self-motivated, resourceful and able to work effectively in a team.
∎ Must have flexible mindset & able to mingle with workers by Excellent communication
∎ The incumbent should be dynamic, well organized, self - driven& have good personality.
∎ Have to be punctual, proactive person & also capable to work under pressure.
∎ Skill in MS Word, MS Excel, and report writing.
