Responsibilities & Context:
This is a brilliant new opportunity for an enthusiastic “WordPress Developer”. We are seeking talented and experienced WordPress Developers to our young, dynamic team at Technext. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver with a proven track record of developing robust and scalable WordPress themes and plugins. As a WordPress Developer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products, working collaboratively with a team of skilled professionals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design and develop WordPress websites, showcasing expertise in Elementary.
2. Implement plugin customizations to enhance website functionality
3. Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other stakeholders to integrate design and functionality seamlessly.
4. Optimize websites for speed, and SEO, and adhere to security best practices.
5. Configure and deploy web servers, databases, and other necessary software components.
6. Write clean and organized code that can be shared, leveraged, and collaborated on with other team members
7. Maintain high coding standards and practices to ensure a high level of quality control on all aspects of website development
8. Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and clients on server-related matters.
9. Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in web development.
10. Collaborate in an agile team environment, contributing to all development phases.
11. Address and rectify bugs, ensuring compatibility across browsers and devices.
12. Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress development trends and technologies
13. Must be able to understand business requirements and translate them into technical needs
14. Ability to prioritize and manage technical requirements throughout the product life cycle.
