Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering with good academic background.
∎ Master degree in any discipline (MBA preferable).

∎ 3 to 7 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ A leading Buying House is looking for Wash Technician/ Sr. Wash Technician for the wash related purposes of the office.
∎ Job Location Panthapath (Dhanmondi)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensuring all wash STD before starting sample development.
∎ Making M/C plan according to sample development schedule.
∎ Developing samples.
∎ Obtaining approval of sample from office.
∎ Conducting buyers sample inspection in factory.
∎ Coordinating with office to solve any problem related to sample wash.
∎ Testing color, solution and quality of sample and finished goods as well.
∎ Work on development of new wash methods and find out the process.
∎ Executing instructions of washing plant.
∎ Have close contact with wash houses in order to follow closely what kind of new wash methods innovation they are working on.
∎ Evaluate wash houses and having good knowledge of their capacity, capabilities, strengths, weaknesses, and improve wash house standards.
∎ Executing process of GSM Measurement, matt shrinkage, shade band, size set, TOP, lab test, original wash etc.
∎ Assisting in first batch production.
∎ Carrying out scheduled quality assurance procedures for washing and ensure quality control.
∎ Go through the technical details of wash and laundries with supplier before production to secure best product with in time shipment.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Dyeing/ Washing, Production Management (Washing).
∎ Sound knowledge on Garments dye, Acid wash, denim garments washing (Wet/dry Processing).
∎ Must have experience in the following business area(s): Garments (Woven), Buying house.
∎ Excellent knowledge in written & spoken English.
∎ Computer knowledge with MS office programs.
∎ Strong technical knowledge in quality system.
∎ Good leadership ability to lead and motivate the subordinates.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and to complete the task within a given time-frame
∎ Adequate knowledge on different types of wash.
∎ Sound knowledge on modern chemical and their application
∎ Working experience with Foreign Customer (North America & USA).
∎ Sound knowledge on China Test, Greece Test, Formaldehyde Test, Azo Test and need to know elaborately about the pH.
