1. 2–5 years of experience in VRM operation (LOESCHE Mill)

2. Good knowledge of DCS/PLC-based control systems.

3. Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.

4. Ability to work under pressure and in rotating shifts.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Possess sound knowledge and hands-on experienc e in LOESCHE VRM operation.
  • Operate and control the VRM system efficiently through DCS/PLC-based control systems.
  • Demonstrate strong awareness of equipment interlock and safety systems to ensure safe and reliable operation.
  • Continuously monitor the running condition of the mill, separator, fan, bag filter, and other associated equipment.
  • Maintain key process parameters such as feed rate, mill differential pressure, separator speed, fan load, temperature, vibration, product fineness, and residue within the specified limits.
  • Take immediate corrective action and promptly inform the Shift In-Charge/Engineer in case of any abnormality, alarm, or equipment trip.
  • Optimize process parameters to reduce power consumption and enhance mill efficiency.
  • Perform VRM start-up and shutdown sequences as per the approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Verify all interlocks, safety systems, and instruments before starting the equipment to ensure operational readiness.
  • Coordinate effectively with field operators, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation teams for smooth and uninterrupted operation.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and support maintenance teams during equipment tripping or planned shutdowns.
  • Maintain hourly log sheets and prepare daily operation reports accurately.
  • Record all process abnormalities, alarms, and equipment trips systematically in the CCR logbook.
  • Monitor production rate, energy consumption, and other key performance indicators on a regular basis.
  • Suggest and implement process improvements for performance optimization and reliability enhancement.
  • Must be willing to work in rotating shifts and under continuous process plant conditions.
