Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Review visa applications, verify documents, and ensure that applicants meet all visa requirements.
∎ Interview visa applicants to assess eligibility for travel or immigration to the destination country.
∎ Input and manage application data in visa processing systems. Approve or deny applications based on established criteria.
∎ Ensure the authenticity of documents such as passports, employment letters, and financial records submitted by applicants.
∎ Identify and mitigate cases of visa fraud, ensuring applicants provide accurate and honest information.
∎ Stay updated on visa and immigration laws, ensuring decisions are in line with current regulations.
∎ Provide clear and helpful communication to visa applicants about the status of their applications or additional steps required.
∎ Work with other departments and agencies to gather required information or to escalate complicated cases.
∎ Identify customer needs, clarify information, investigate issues, and provide effective solutions or alternatives.
∎ Monitor and maintain high standards in call handling and email response practices.
∎ Ensure the team meets qualitative and quantitative targets, focusing on customer satisfaction.
∎ Take an active role in the development and implementation of customer support strategies.
