Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Science (MSc) in Medicine Pathology, Nutrition,Theriogenology)
∎ A DVM degree from top tier Agricultural University
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: Veterinary Medicine
∎ Training/Trade Course: DVM,Veterinary
∎ Skills Required: Veterinarian, Veterinary medicine
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Dairy Farm, Dairy Medicine, Poultry, veterinary, Veterinary medicine
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Planning, designing, and implementation of improvements on existing praniSheba platform and associated products and services.
∎ Playing an active role in facilitation and implementation of capacity building, training, seminars, workshops for LSPs and lead farmers about praniSheba and its benefits.
∎ Bolusing of cattle.
∎ Maintaining liaison with the Government, Regulators, NGOs and other stakeholders.
∎ Ensuring timely and sufficient data entry to the praniSheba app by farmers, field workers and other stakeholders.
∎ Offering treatment, & consultancy support and follow-up.
∎ Identifying and analysing potential opportunities to improve participants/farmers' overall cognisance - especially business intelligence - about their own farms and to improve the efficiency of farming actors.
∎ Identifying potential service providers from the livestock eco-system, input/output market actors, and developing strategies for analyzing and addressing their constraints from praniSheba perspective.
∎ Acquiring a superb knowledge-base about praniSheba, Mobile app and admin panel.
∎ Remote monitoring of and advice on livestock covered under praniSheba through mobile and web tools.
∎ Providing improvement ideas and support based on domain knowledge for praniSheba app development with the software development team.
∎ Breed identification and digital registry of livestock with an eye for digital marketing in view of praniSheba.
∎ Together with other staff at praniSheba, develop new and practical interventions for the facilitation of capacity building of market actors.
