• At least 5 years of experience in software development, with 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in developing and deploying ML models at scale.
• Proficiency with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
• Proficiency in Computer Vision, VLM, LLM, Image/Video Captioning.
• Experience implementing MLOps principles, including version control and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with cloud services implementing APIs for model deployment (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML).
• Strong programming skills in Python, C, C++, and/or other related languages for automation.
• IoT: Hands-on experience with IoT platforms and protocols.
• Blockchain: Knowledge of blockchain frameworks (Ethereum, Solana) and smart contract development.
• Web3: Expertise in decentralized application development, tokenomics, and wallet integration.
• Fluency in English.
• Awareness of emerging technologies.

Leadership and Strategy:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers and developers specializing in emerging technologies.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for integrating AI, ML, IoT, Blockchain, Web3 and web development domains to achieve business goals.
• Act as a technology evangelist, identifying opportunities to incorporate these technologies into the organization's products and services.
• Stay ahead of technological trends, providing insights and recommendations to maintain a competitive edge.

Technology-Specific Responsibilities

Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Machine Learning (ML):

• Model Design and Implementation: Identify, design, and implement machine learning models to automate and improve various processes within our client applications, selecting the most effective algorithms based on specific project requirements.
• Data Management and Processing: Collaborate with data engineers to ensure high-quality, accessible training datasets. Develop data pipelines to support both training and inference phases in production.
• Project Breakdown and Execution: Partner with product management and cross-functional teams to break down complex ML projects into manageable phases, ensuring clear deliverables and timely execution.
• Training and Deployment: Oversee the end-to-end process of model development, from initial training to production deployment, optimizing models for performance and scalability within cloud environments.
• Mentorship and Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, supporting their development and enhancing team skills in machine learning and AI applications.
• Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Continuously monitor the performance of ML models in production, identifying opportunities for improvement and re-training as needed.
• Research and Innovation: Stay informed on industry advancements in AI/ML, integrating new ideas and techniques to benefit Data Tree’s projects.

Internet of Things (IoT):

• Drive the development of IoT-based systems for real-time data collection and analysis.
• Collaborate with the team to design secure and intelligent IoT ecosystems integrated with AI.

Blockchain:

• Oversee the implementation of blockchain solutions for secure, decentralized systems.
• Manage the development of smart contracts and distributed applications (dApps).

Web3 & Decentralized Applications (dApps):

• Build decentralized applications with blockchain technology, ensuring interoperability and scalability.
• Utilize Python, Django, and Django REST Framework for back-end development in Web3 ecosystems.

Project and Team Management:

• Plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outcomes.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the team.
• Implement best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
