∎ Age 20 to 35 years
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee the day-to-day care and management of the cow farm.
∎ Ensure proper feeding, growth, and nutrition of cattle.· Administer timely vaccinations for all farm cattle and participating members' cattle.
∎ Prepare food budgets, consumption reports, and maintain accurate records of feed and inputs.
∎ Monitor farm production processes, ensuring quality standards and efficiency.
∎ Conduct preventive and scheduled maintenance of equipment and ensure farm facilities function properly.
∎ Schedule and supervise activities such as breeding, dehorning, and health monitoring of cattle.
∎ Observe and document cattle behavior, estrus cycles, and perform artificial insemination as required.
∎ Collect cow feed samples quarterly for laboratory analysis at Bangladesh Agricultural University to evaluate crude protein (CP), metabolizable energy (ME), and fiber content.
∎ Vaccinate, deworm, and monitor participating members' cattle for quarterly health improvements.
∎ Provide leadership and supervision to farm staff, ensuring smooth farm operations.
∎ Carry out other tasks assigned by the management.
