Experience:

• Master of Social Science (MSS)

Master’s degree in any discipline (Preferred in social science)

• Age At most 45 years

• Minimum 3 years of experience in education program but 5-7 years’ experiences in NGO/INGO or Development sector.·        

• Excellent skills using commonly used MS Word, MS Excel, internet and email communication.·        

• Excellent communications skills.·        

• Works well under stress and meet deadlines·        

• Must have quick decision making and problem-solving capability.·        

• Finally, selected candidate will be required to respect, follow and uphold the organization`s Child Protection Policy, Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) Policy, Gender Policy and the organization`s Code of Conduct and others policies in their personal and professional lives.·

Village Education Resource Center (VERC) is a national level voluntary organization which is registered by the NGOAB (Reg-133), Social Welfare department (Reg-Da-02282/89) and MRA (Reg-01275-00523-00017). In partnership with UNICEF, Village Education Resource Center (VERC) is going to implement a title project “Educate the most disadvantaged Children (EMDC)” Project at Narsingdi Sadar & Raipura Upzila in Narsingdi districts. Recruitment against the following project position will be made for implementation of project interventions:

Job Description/Responsibilities:·        

• Ensure the successful implementation of project activities at the Upazila level.·        

• Coordinate with local authorities, schools, teachers, and community leaders to ensure alignment with project objectives.·        

• Monitor and evaluate the progress of educational activities, ensuring they are on track and aligned with the project’s goals and objectives.·        

• Collect, analyze, and report on data related to the project’s performance at the Upazila level.·        

• Prepare and submit regularly progress reports to the Project Manager.·        

• Establish and maintain relationships with local government bodies, schools, community organizations and other stakeholders.·        

• Facilitate community meetings to raise awareness about the project and its objectives.·        

• Organize training sessions for teachers, school management committees, and other key stakeholders to enhance their capacity in delivering quality education.·        

• Provide technical support and guidance to teachers on pedagogy, classroom management, and the use of educational materials.·        

• Assist in managing the project budget at the Upazila level, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and effectively.·        

• Ensure the proper use and accountability of project funds for educational activities and resources.·        

• Work with the Project Manager to track expenditures and prepare financial reports for the Upazila level.·        

• Contribute to the development of case studies and success stories to highlight the impact of the project.

• Ensure that all project-related documents are accurately filed and accessible

Taka 51016 - 55,000 (Monthly) and others facilities will be applicable also based on available the project budget.
