Job Context:
∎ Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) invites applications for the following positions for immediate appointment in the ongoing SHOUHARDO III Program, in partnership with CARE Bangladesh and funding support of USAID. The goal of the project is to "Improve gender equitable food security, nutrition and resilience of vulnerable people within Bangladesh for 549,000 poor and extremely poor people by August 2022". DAM is implementing the SHOUHARDO III program in Sunamganj (Tahirpur & Dowarabazar Upazillas) and Hobiganj (Baniachang & Ajmiriganj Upazillas) districts supported by CARE Bangladesh.
∎ Employment Status-Contractual (Up to August 2022)
∎ Job Location-Ajmiriganj upazilla of Hobiganj district .
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 8-10 years working experience in development sector including 5 years' experience in project implementation, monitoring and field staff supervision;
∎ Clear understanding on livelihood/food security project implementation strategy and concept;
∎ Strong coordination and networking skill with Upazila level GO, NGO officials, UP and private sector actors.
∎ Strong facilitation skills, good knowledge of good governance, gender equity and dimensional interventions; willing to drive motorcycle and should have valid driving license.
∎ Experience on participatory process, community mobilization, and problem solving and community empowerment process.
∎ Reporting skills in both English and Bangla
∎ Computer skills on MS Word, excel, power point and others
∎ Willing to drive motor cycle and should have valid driving license
∎ Upazila Coordinator should be given preference for recruitment from respective district or minimum from respective division.
Salary: Tk. 37950 (Monthly)
