Responsibilities & Context:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure full compliance with all government, embassy/consulate, and international travel regulations.
  • Oversee and manage the complete operations of the travel agency, including ticketing, reservations, visa processing, and tour management.
  • Supervise the visa processing team for tourist, business, work, and immigration visas; ensure accuracy in applications and supporting documents.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of visa policies, embassy requirements, and international travel regulations.
  • Establish and sustain professional correspondence with overseas recruiting agencies, partner companies, and airline/hotel partners.
  • Liaise with Civil Aviation, BAIRA, MOE, BOESL, embassies, consulates, and other relevant authorities to ensure proper coordination and compliance.
  • Manage and optimize OTA (Online Travel Agency) platforms and digital booking systems.
  • Ensure efficient use of GDS systems (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, etc.) for ticketing and reservations.
  • Develop business strategies to expand services, increase revenue, and strengthen client relationships.
  • Supervise customer service and travel consultants to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior staff in visa and travel operations.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and embassy/visa updates to design competitive travel packages.
  • Handle escalations related to client issues, visa rejections, or delays with professionalism.
  • Manage budgets, financial targets, and operational costs to ensure profitability.
  • Prepare and securely maintain official documents, contracts, agreements, and detailed records of visa applications.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and professional forums.
  • Educational Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Tourism & Hospitality Management, International Relations, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 5+ years of proven professional experience in the travel and tourism industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven expertise in visa processing, preferably for popular destinations (USA, UK, Canada, Schengen, Australia, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of GDS ticketing systems (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre), OTA platforms, and visa procedures.
  • Track record in business development, team management, and client relationship management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Integrity, professionalism, and client-focused approach with strict confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
