Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Trainee Merchandiser to join our team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates eager to build a career in the merchandising industry. Candidates with a master’s degree will be given preference. As a Trainee Merchandiser, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the merchandising team to ensure seamless operations and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating with clients, suppliers, and production teams to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, shipment schedules, and inventory updates.
- Support the merchandising team in product sourcing, pricing, and sampling processes.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
- Ensure quality control by monitoring product standards and resolving any issues with production.
- Communicate effectively with local and international stakeholders to maintain a smooth workflow.
- Provide administrative support to the merchandising team as needed.
