∎ Ability to obtain pertinent legal material from a variety of internet sources
∎ Experience in drafting and reviewing writ petitions
∎ Capable of evaluating intricate legal issues, identifying and applying relevant precedents and legal doctrine, the capacity for analytical thinking, legal analysis, and well-reasoned argumentation
∎ Ability to work under minimum remote supervision
∎ Own a laptop and smartphone with a reliable and fast internet connection

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist with preparing, reviewing, and submitting the writ petition and legal cases to court and other agencies, as well as maintain communication with them;
∎ Conduct legal research on various laws, regulations and procedures related to the regular services of the litigation department;
∎ Draft correspondence and communicate with clients to gather necessary documentation and information;
∎ Organize and maintain each client's case files and case status updates and ensure that all assigned tasks are performed within the deadline;
∎ Generate and brainstorm organizational ideas to increase firm’s efficiency;
∎ Write monthly blog articles on immigration categories and legal requirement, and prepare social media content on the department's regular services;
∎ Monitor changes in immigration laws and policies that may affect clients and cases;
∎ Participate in client meetings, take notes to assist in case management, and discharge all other tasks assigned by the team lead or deputy leads;
