Job Context:
∎ Duration: One year
∎ Reporting to: Development and Implementation Team Lead
∎ Objective: The Testing & Quality Assurance Expert will lead and ensure the integrity of the testing and quality assurance processes for software systems. This role encompasses setting the quality standards and leading both the internal team and external stakeholders towards achieving the highest quality in technical outputs.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Design, develop, and implement quality assurance and testing strategies for complex software projects.
∎ Oversee the creation and execution of detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
∎ Lead the integration, system, regression, and performance testing phases to identify system vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with quality standards.
∎ Provide effective management and leadership to a team of testing professionals, ensuring high performance and development of team members.
∎ Actively engage and collaborate with GoB Counterpart Team to align quality assurance strategies with local standards and requirements.
∎ Conduct regular quality assessments, risk analysis, and root cause analysis to mitigate potential issues.
∎ Document quality assurance activities meticulously and ensure all team members adhere to documentation standards.
∎ Communicate quality metrics and test results to stakeholders and provide recommendations for improvement.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ A minimum of 10 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with extensive work in Government or Public Sector environments preferred.
∎ Certified Test Manager (CTM) or equivalent certification from a recognized professional body.
∎ Proven leadership in managing and directing a multi-disciplinary team of international experts.
∎ Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills to work with GoB Counterpart Team and various stakeholders.
∎ In-depth knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and practices.
∎ Experience in automated and manual testing environments.
∎ Familiarity with various software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
∎ Proficiency in using test management software and defect tracking tools.
∎ At least two years of experience as an international (Expat)
∎ Exceptional analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
∎ Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in English.
∎ High level of initiative and self-motivation, with a strong sense of accountability.
∎ A continuous improvement mindset, staying updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in QA and testing.
∎ Proficiency in one or more scripting languages for test automation is highly desirable.
