Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor Degree in Education, Management, Social Science (Master degree preferred);

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support the implementation of literacy and numeracy program including designing work plans, implementation modalities in coordination with relevant stakeholders;
∎ Support the design and development of literacy and numeracy curriculum, training manuals; support teacher professional development, centre management committees, centre administration;
∎ Manage Vocational Training Centres to ensure effective pedagogical practices relevant for trainees capacity covering literacy numeracy, life skills;
∎ Ensure effective learning environment by managing the financial, technical and operations and human resource of the Vocational Training Centres;
∎ Manage day-to-day operations of the VTC, managing the VTC trainers, student enrolment process, attendance, drop-out and ensuring adherence to the curriculum and quality of the training provided;
∎ Support to develop and design training needs assessment tools for trainee selection and trade selection;
∎ Support to develop and design assessment tools, quality assurance for delivered-training;
∎ Build strong partnership with government and private sector entities to ensure the services are demand and supply driven;
∎ Ensure linkage among key stakeholders i.e. government, private sector, civil society organizations, donors and other funding agencies;
∎ Coordinate and follow up of teaching learning materials.
∎ Report on activities and results to POs and relevant staff when require.
∎ Perform any other duties/responsibilities assigned by the concerned authority.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ At least four (4) years of experience in the education/ vocational training sector specifically supporting skills training, livelihood and life skills activities
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bangla and English.
∎ Knowledge on local language will be an asset.
∎ Experience to address gender issues in humanitarian interventions;
∎ Adaptable and able to work under pressure in a demanding and fast-moving environment;
∎ Should have good computer knowledge especially in Microsoft Office, MS Excel and MS Power Point
