• In the case of a highly relevant, experienced candidate, then age may be flexible. Minimum 4 years of experience in the development sector, but experience on education background Projects will get preference. Proven experience in a technical role within the education sector. Strong knowledge of educational technology tools, software applications, and learning management systems. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with educators and IT teams.

ESDO is one of the most dynamic organizations expanding its development interventions across 422 upazilas under 56 districts of Bangladesh covering over 10 million poor and vulnerable people.

As partnership with Save the Children in Bangladesh, ESDO is implementing the “Empowering Children through Education (ECE)” project at Madargonj of Jamalpur District and Razarhat of Kurigram District. ESDO is inviting applications from interested qualified candidates for the position. Supervisor`s Position: Project Coordinator

Provide support to school teachers to enhance learning outcomes in Bangla, English, and Mathematics of class I-V students. Ensure timely and efficient implementation of program activities as per plan. Assist Upazila Education Officer, Assistant Upazila Education Officer and Upazila Resource Center Instructor for capacity development of primary school teachers on remedial learning package and enabling teacher for positive class management and ICT in education. Facilitated school teacher to disseminate interactive content for grade I-V learners using Ed-tech apps. Meeting with school teachers to encourage slow learner including girls to continue their education. Facilitated Upazila level Educational Resource Persons (UEO, AUEO & URC-I) to organize and conduct teachers training. Sensitize parents and students on the advantages of education and demerits of early marriage and child labor. Organize meetings with Upazila Educational Resource Persons (UEO, AUEO & URC-I) and teachers, SMC, parents and other stakeholders in the project area. Support education facilitator and school teacher to establish remedial learning support for selected children. Assist Project Coordinator to organize progress sharing meeting with Upazila education steering committee. Organize day observation ceremony and promote local role model of the respective community/school catchment. Supervise and maintain coordination with Education Facilitators to ensure supportive field program management and oversee the work and ensure quality. Support to Education Facilitator to school visit, home visit and parents meeting as per guideline Conduct day to day quality monitoring of remedial students and identify improvement area and mentor school teacher achieve the learning outcomes of the children. Provide coaching and mentoring to Education Facilitator to enhance capacity. Follow up and facilitate the teaching-learning process at in primary school. Establish linkage between the UP IT resource person with Department of Upazila Youth Development to connect parents to promote digital service (e.g., birth registration, admission, govt. social safety net service, IT training, etc.) Maintain smooth coordination with local-level stakeholders, including teachers, parents, SMC, community, and government line departments. Support in documentation and dissemination of case studies and best practices. Support the project coordinator in developing quality and timely reports. Active participation in team planning and other meetings. Communication with GO, NGO & Local Government institutions. Comply with organization safeguarding policy and establish a gender-friendly working environment in the workplace.

Yearly Festival Bonus equivalent to one month's gross salary and Boishakhi allowance of 10% of gross salary. Other benefits as per project allocation.
