∎ Bangladesh Resource Center for Indigenous Knowledge (BARCIK) is a non-governmental, non-profit development organization. Founded in 1997 by a group of development practitioners, researchers, and social workers, BARCIK has been dedicated to advancing environmental protection, biodiversity conservation, climate change mitigation, resilience, justice, and food security since its inception.
∎ BARCIK is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Technical Officer for its project titled ‘Environmental Human Rights for a Just Transition: Strengthened Local CSOs Transforming Climate Hotspots into Resilient Communities (ENGAGE). This project will be implemented in the Shyamnagar and Assasuni upazilas of Satkhira district and Koyra and Paikgacha upazilas of Khulna district. The project is financial supported by the European Union (EU) and led by NETZ Bangladesh. Position will be available from 1 April 2025 to 31 December 2028.
