Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 4 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage and maintain Linux-based servers to ensure high availability and performance.
∎ Install, configure, and troubleshoot server applications and services.
∎ Basic knowledge of Docker, and Kubernetes.
∎ Server management in a standard Data Center environment.
∎ Administer cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, local cloud) to deploy and manage infrastructure.
∎ Implement and optimize cloud-based solutions for scalability and efficiency.
∎ Configure and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
∎ Troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions to ensure smooth operation.
∎ Manage and optimize PostgreSQL and MySQL databases. Perform database backups, restores, and upgrades as needed.
∎ Implement and maintain log management solutions to monitor system performance. Analyze logs to identify and resolve issues proactively.
∎ Investigate and resolve system-related issues, providing timely and effective solutions. Implement preventive measures to avoid system downtime and failures.
∎ Deploy application upon deployment instruction from the Development team (i.e Java, Python, NodeJS
∎ Prepare documentation for a regulatory audit.
∎ Develop and maintain existing systems monitoring tools (i.e Cacti, Nagios, ELK, Wazuh)
∎ Maintain 3rd party communication (i.e ISP, Bank, Telco, SMS vendor, cloud providers)
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 32 years
∎ Proven experience as a System Administrator with a focus on Linux environments.
∎ Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
∎ A proactive attitude will added advantage rather than a reactive
∎ Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
∎ Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols.
∎ Knowledge of database administration, particularly PostgreSQL and MySQL.
∎ Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
∎ Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python) for automation tasks.
∎ Relevant certifications (e.g., Linux Professional Institute Certification, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator) would be a plus.
∎ Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for configurations and procedures.
∎ Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and vendors.
