Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure overall planning, management, implementation and monitoring of projects and activities related to sustainable financing.
∎ Identify business opportunities for sustainable financing / green financing viz renewable energy, energy conservation and CDM (Clean Development Mechanism) projects.
∎ Select potential sectors, conduct sectorial studies and develop appropriate sustainable financing / green financing products.
∎ Coordinate with departments for formulating sector specific sustainable policies and guidelines, social management system, green marketing and promotional activities, training and awareness buildup for employees and other stakeholders.
∎ Integrate environment and social risk mitigation plan in CRM policy.
∎ Facilitate regulatory requirements & ensure timely submission of reports on Green & Sustainable Finance to Bangladesh Bank, internal reports on the activities of sustainable financing and reports on departmental risks & their mitigation.
∎ Maintain liaison with different regulatory bodies, GOB and development organizations and comply all regulatory requirements.
∎ Implement advocacy and engage with the banking sector, financial institutions, and other stakeholders in relation to sustainable finance.
