Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ Incumbent should preferably be a graduate with Fisheries or any other biological science field.
∎ Skills Required: Distribution/ Supply Chain Management, Excellent communication skill in both Bengali and English, factory management, leadership and negotiation, Production
Experience Requirements:
∎ 7 to 11 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ TotalFood is looking for a Supply Chain Manger. The incumbent of this position needs to have adequate knowledge and skill on traceable cold-chain development and management.
∎ It is emphatically desired that the candidate knows the source of raw materials, willing to build and motivate relationships with the prospective farmers for meaningful win-win partnership. The person would be willing to share information with all stakeholders of the supply chain.
∎ A group of liaison officers and cluster head will remain under his supervision and surveillance. Issues regarding quality assurance management during cold logistics systems and supporting farmers for better aqua-culture practice will be under his responsibility.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinating with the factory management team and training management team for farmers is his or her responsibility.
∎ Arrange to prepare statistical data on farms and farmers so that a plan of procurement under the company's guidelines and parameters can be built up.
∎ Collect the regular price level from the market, submit a comparison statement to the management with a view to finalise a competitive price to procure necessary raw materials.
∎ Develop good contact with farmers willing to supply quality shrimp and fish directly to the company through a cluster.
∎ Monitor company's vehicle for raw materials.
∎ Monitor the activities of cluster heads through his Liaison officer and shall update his management about the projected supply.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 55 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Proven experience on raw materials purchase in shrimp and fish farming areas.
