Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct pre-production meetings with factory teams to ensure technical requirements are understood.
∎ Verify fabric, trims, and accessories to ensure they meet buyer specifications before production begins.
∎ Approve pre-production samples (PP samples) before bulk manufacturing.
∎ Perform in-line inspections to check garment construction, stitching, and overall workmanship.
∎ Identify and report defects or inconsistencies during the production process.
∎ Ensure factories follow approved patterns, grading, and measurements.
∎ Ensure all garments meet buyer quality standards and international compliance regulations.
∎ Implement and enforce quality control (QC) procedures within the factory.
∎ iii) Work with factory QC teams to improve quality assurance measures.
∎ Conduct final random inspections (FRI) before shipment.
∎ Ensure finished garments meet the required quality, fit, and appearance standards.
∎ Prepare detailed QC reports with findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
∎ Analyze recurring defects and work with factories to implement corrective actions.
∎ Train factory workers on best practices for quality improvement.
∎ Ensure quick resolutions to any quality issues that may impact production timelines.
∎ Maintain strong communication with factory management and production teams.
∎ Provide regular updates to the buying office on production quality status.
∎ Ensure smooth coordination between the buying office, merchandisers, and factory QC teams.
