Responsibilities & Context:

AkijBashir Group seeks to appoint a Senior Officer / Asst. Manager who will ensure accurate financial management, compliance, and reporting for it’s Cable Business, (AkijBashir Energy Ltd.) while supporting smooth operations across accounting, treasury, costing, taxation, and cross-functional activities

Key Responsibilities

General Accounting – Prepare and supervise GL entries (receipts, payments, JVs, provisions, etc) and salary disbursement

• Banking & Fund Management – Manage daily cash flow, fund forecasts, and bank reconciliations

• Accounts Payable – Process vendor bills, petty cash, and payments with proper TAX & VAT compliance

• Revenue & Receivables – Monitor revenue booking, invoice processing, and ensure timely collection

• Manufacturing Accounts – Record and monitor costs from raw material to finished goods

• Costing – Prepare SKU-wise costing, factory cost per unit, overhead allocation, variance analysis, and cost reports

• LC & Loans – Calculate LC landing costs, manage LATR adjustments, and book interest expenses

• Financial Accounts – Prepare financial statements, reports, and maintain the chart of accounts

• Taxation – Prepare annual tax accounts, handle NBR assessments, and maintain compliance records

• Inventory – Monitor monthly/quarterly stock, conduct physical counts, and reconcile balances

• Fixed Assets – Maintain the fixed asset register, track additions, retirements, and ensure control

• Budget & Planning – Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and risk analysis

• Cross-Functional Support – Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations
