Experience:

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology

• Age 25 to 32 years

• Minimum 5 to 6 years as Merchandizer/Sr. Merchandizer in a reputed Export Oriented Knit Composite Factory.

• Should be a team player and have excellent communication skills in oral & written both in Bangla and English.

• Leadership quality with positive attitude & having ability to take right decision independently.

• Organizing & managing ability with problem-solving & analytical skills.

• Should have in good knowledge of garment knitting, dyeing & manufacturing processes and ensure quality standards.

• Should have adequate knowledge on dummies, fit models, the physical aspects of the body structures of men, women and children, fabrics, accessories, measurement and their costing.

• Should have good knowledge on computer and ERP system for effective online communication internally and externally.

Context :

AKH Knitting & Dyeing Ltd. (AKDL) is a 100% Export Oriented Knit Composite Factory located at Hemayetpur, Savar, Dhaka and a sister concern of AKH Group. We are looking for qualified, energetic, hardworking, skilled and experienced Sr. Merchandisers for strengthening and enhancing the capacity of the Merchandising Team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and follow up of Time & Action plan (TNA) to ensure the timely delivery of raw materials and production.

• Responsible for making samples, pricing, costing and do necessary coordination & liaison with the Product Development Centre (PDC) and the production team.

• Handle end to end product’s development till the end of production, ensure right quality, right vendor, right price and on time delivery.

• Research market trend, make long-term plan for season wise yearly production.

• Monitor activities from sampling, and development to the shipment stage.

• Forecast profits and sales using the existing software/ERP.

• Sourcing Product, fabrics / trims and innovation developments follow up.

• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills and professional attitude towards job responsibilities.

• Follow up sampling, development & production in all stages of the supply chain.

• To do the Pre-costing and post costing of the product.
